Matryoshka

Udah lama gak nge-post sesuatu berlabel recently read, jadi ya here it is.

Matryoshka by Yuki Andou. One-shot, 50 halaman, and by far it made it to my favorite list. Ringan dan manis, just the way i like it. :3

Ceritanya tentang Yuuri (who's a guy anyway) yang udh pernah 15 kali pacaran selama 19 tahun hidupnya. Semua kisah cintanya berantakan, soalnya si Yuuri ini agak aneh. Bayangin aja, dia pernah berencana ngasih magic wand, a toy, buat pacarnya yang 3 tahun lebih tua as a Christmas gift. Nuts, isn't he?

Nah, si Yuuri ini, punya childhood friend, named Nina (the heroine). Yuuri would always come crying to Nina every time he got dumped by his girlfriend, and Nina would always sigh and cheered him up.

Satu hari di awal cerita, Yuuri comes crying to Nina. Dia baru aja diputusin pacarnya gara-gara ngasih Matryoshka as a birthday present.

A matryoshka doll, or babushka doll is a Russian nesting doll which is a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside the other.

Well, you'll know it once you read the manga, so chill.

Then, as Nina opening each doll up, Yuuri remembering the past memories of him he spent with Nina, and realizing that he's actually been ridiculously in love with her since the very beginning. Dan seperti yang diharapkan, Nina too has always loved Yuuri, and that's your happy ending.

P.S. Yes, i'm slacking. Ben Willis from the movie Cashback said that doing something else other than the work you're supposed to do is addictive. Can't agree more.

Oh, and about that picture i posted last time, it got neglected. Yay me. *facepalm*

New Semester Ahead

Edan, gak berasa aja udah mau semester 6. Dua semester lagi, trus wisuda! *amin* What??!! Udah mau lulus aja?? Cepet bangeeett!!! Dx

Gw bahkan masih bingung mau KP dimana, apalagi what's next after college. Seperti bodoh saja.

Udah ditonton, tapi belakangan lagi sibuk dirajam tugas dan lain-lain, pengen nambah postingan sih, tapi sekarang juga gw udah ngantuk.

Wohoo~ Akhirnya, Jumat sore, abis kuliah metdes-yang-sebenernya-gak-ada-kuliah-dan-cuma-dikasih-tugas, kita (ber-6 sih sebenernya, plus Ismi jadi 7, hehe) foto full team setelah lama gak berfoto bersama lengkap lagi.

I demand some more photo session when we're all there, girls! Kita HARUS jalan bareng lagi, full team. HARUS!

Ah jadi macam anak SMA saja bergenggong ria, but it's kinda fun, so why not, haha.

Fired Up

Bukan film baru sih, tahun 2009 keluarnya. Udah beberapa kali nonton juga, tapi berhubung gw pengen berbagi betapa adorable-nya si Nicholas D'Agosto, yaudah deh.

Filmnya tentang 2 high school football player, Shawn (Nicholas D'Agosto) dan Nick (Eric Christian Olsen) yang playboy to the max. Nah, karena ke-playboy-an mereka ini, mereka nyari cara supaya mereka bisa terbebas dari football camp mereka yang kebetulan bakal jauh banget dari peradaban.

No girls dong artinya?

Kebetulan tim cheerleaders sekolah mereka juga bakal ikutan cheerleading camp. Shawn dan Nick overheard kalo bakal ada 300 cewek yang bakal ikutan. Mereka awalnya ditolak masuk tim dan ikut camp, soalnya si Carly (Sarah Roemer), ketua cheerleaders, tau banget kalo mereka itu playboy. Tapi dengan segala daya upaya, mereka akhirnya masuk juga.

Lucu banget deh sok-suka-banget-cheering nya mereka.

Hihihihihi.

Singkat cerita, mereka berhasil ikutan cheerleading camp dan hooked up with the girls at the camp. Awalnya mereka mau bail out di tengah-tengah camp tapi karena si Shawn nya udah kepincut sama Carly, jadilah mereka ikut sampe akhir dan jadi beneran ngebantuin tim cheerleader.

Sebenernya ada detail-detail lain sih, kayak ada Dr. Rick, pre-fiance nya Carly yang super norak, trus ada Diora, pelatih di cheer camp yang keep giving Nick cold shoulder yang akhirnya luluh juga gara-gara baca notes nya Nick, bodoooh~ xD Ada juga Downey, cowok gay di cheer camp yang ngira Nick juga gay.

Berhubung gw pengennya praktis, singkat aja ya, hehe.

Aah, bodoh lah pokoknya film nya. Ringan dan asik. Dan ada eye candy yang luar biasa adorable. Sumpah ya si Nicholas D'Agosto ini umurnya udh 30.

TIGA PULUH for God's sake!! Dan bisa-bisanya dia masih keliatan se-imut itu.
